I debated among 3 different topics to post this evening.

1. The MTV VMAs should really take another look at their red carpet lighting, or recording artists should take another look at their red carpet wardrobes, because almost every single celebrity looked like a drag queen. Am I wrong?

2. The innate creepiness of Olivier Zahm.

3. The slow descent of Chloe Sevigny’s style into fashion’s shadow.

After a short, wine-aided thought process, I decided the third topic was most substantiated. So, here it goes:

Dear Chloe,

I like you. I’ve always liked you. So, from someone who only has your best interests at heart, how about trying something new? Cut your hair, wear non-studded footwear, how about a little color? I’m over the Boho glam chic short skirt and a sheer top look on you. Let’s go for something totally different. Push that “I’m a trend setter” envelope! Wear a robe and slippers for all I care. Just do something unique – because frankly, hunny, you’re starting to blend into the crowd.

Which may make you want to cry yourself to sleep tonight, until I tell you that some catty PR girls whispered, just loud enough for me and several standers-by to hear, “Ugh. [insert hair flick here] I don’t think she’s supposed to be sitting there.”
